Does not having a Nav system affect a Vantages re-sale appeal and value?
Truth be told, the AM sat nav works okay for turn-by-turn directions. That one device told you to turn left and another said turn right does not necessarily mean that either is wrong, as there is typically more than one way to get to a destination. The biggest problem with the AM sat nav IMO is that it's completely worthless if you use it as a map. It shows the roads but none of them are labelled. So, what you get is a screen that just displays a bunch of squiggly lines.
OP, I don't think not having a sat nav would be a deal breaker for most. Those who buy buy for other reasons.

Take a look at this one, Rob. It's an '09 so it has the 430HP engine, looks pretty sharp and they've had it for sale for something like year (Market must be soft in Atlanta). Probably ripe for an offer.

And it has the GPS!

That's a gorgeous car with a really nice color combo, but unfortunately out of my budget. They'd have to drop that price substantially.
I bought my last car, a new 2008 Porsche out of Naples FL in the height of the recession. It had a $ 72K sticker on it and was a limited edition model so I couldn't get it around Wash DC. They said " $ 65K is the best we'll do". I said " $ 53,500 and I'll buy it when you change your mind - call me, you have my number." It had sat there a year as well. They called back within two hours and did the $ 53,500. (I had to pay $ 700 to ship it to Virginia, but that was OK).
Most they can do is say 'no' ! Its been on the lot a long time, and Atlanta is still trying to pull out of the recession.

I actually have made a few low ball offer's to several dealers here locally, and out of town. I'm looking to pay cash for my purchase, and have a certain figure in my mind that I can't go over. I'm not in a hurry, and have all the time to wait til the right deal comes along.
BTW, how do you know that car has been there a year or more. I wonder if anything is wrong with it. Seems weird it's been there so long, as it is a nice color combo.
Was a Design Edition 2 (jazzed up Boxster)
Ran a Carfax on that one in Atlanta as I was considering it for a buy, but found one locally that really sent me...and I like dark blue better!
