Porterfield brake pad question

I just went to install the new pads and the place for the sensor is not correct, it like they only make the pads correct for the right side of the car, but on the left they are not right, is this normal? they will work ok, but its not the same as stock, the stock pads are made for left and right, they are mirror images.

When I had the porterfield r4s installed my tech did the sensors fine but not sure if he used factory pn for the sensors or not... I asked him over the phone and he just told me it wouldn't be an issue...

The sensors are fine, and they fit into the pads fine, it's just the location of the slot in the pad, it's correct on one side of the car, flip the pad to the other side and it's off set from the cast into the caliper hold down slot for the sensor wire, an issue? Probably not, I'm sure it's easier to not make left and right pads, they just made them all the same

^^^ Ditto for me. Pf just did not make a chiral mould for the opposite side when they created a cast for the pads. The wire is long enough on the sensor that it's a non-issue altho IIRC correctly, I did secure it so that it was not 'flapping in the breeze' once I put everything back together.
