Ever seen a clear front marker lamp?

I've never cared for the amber front market lights on my BMW's and Porsches and always have replaced them with clear or white lenses (and amber bulbs). Today I decided to look around for the ones for Aston's and have come up empty. Going over to EBAY (U.K.) I thought I might locate some, but to my surprise it looks like these lamps are not even fit to the cars that stay in the mother country.

Anyone know if there is a source for these in the clear or white lens? (Yes I know, this is a First World Problem)..lol

I've seen them smoked dark (might work on your car) but never clear. Wish we didn't need them at all -- the European models have a cleaner look.

The Vantage Collection has clear side marker reflectors, front and rear. They'll also smoke them if you like. I went back and forth with Nicholas earlier in the year, but didn't do it. The amber and red still bug me.

^^^ Not on the website (I just checked). I have a recent price list and the smoked lenses are there (also not on website), no mention of clears, other than a "custom work" category.

They're not on the website, but he has them. I just checked my email trail from May. You'll have to email or call him. I think he quoted me $68 each, including the amber or red bulb. The front install is straightforward. The rear is more complicated.

Is the install a pain? I assume same deal for vantage and DB series cars? Do the bumper covers have to come off or do they just pop out? It sucks we need those front and rear markers they are warts on an otherwise perfect front and rear look on our cars ... The euro cars look super clean.

From this picture, it looks like they are anchored from behind. Prolly means you have to get from below or perhaps by removing the inner fender liners?

Those clear ones are nice. To change the side markers you need to take out a panel in the wheel well near the front of the bumper.

What I did was paint mine body color and pulled out the bulbs so there is no light at all. There is no bulb out warning at least on my 09 vantage. Looks nice and clean overall.

I did that on my BMW. It looks so much better that I'm going to take on the DBS. But I'll probably do clear or smoked in body color--Quantum Silver.

I haven't done it yet. I was told that the fender liners had to come out and that the back required something more than that. Sorry I can't help.
