Aston Martin Virage Noise

Happy new year every one,

I just picked up a brand new Virage coupe last week and just today I started getting a squealing/whining noise when I started turning the car. In the morning the noise could only be heard when I was turning the car and progressed in the evening to being nonstop during driving at low and high speeds. Even at idle the sound can now be heard. In the last day it has started raining and is a little cold , I have a feeling it might have something to do with it.

The car was manufactured over a year ago and has been sitting in the dealers inventory. I will garage the vehicle till I can take it in for service. Any ideas on what might be happening here esp on a brand new car.

This is why cars that don't get driven are IMO not as good as cars with low miles and highway use with proper records and documentation. I would check into the PS fluid, pump/lines, or belt. If it's a noise while turning PS is the place to start.

My guess would be the belt needs replacement.. Hopefully it's just that and shouldn't be too expensive to take care of (+- 300)..
