Rapide sterring chatter on turns ...
The Rapide runs stock Bridgestone's: 245/40ZR20 (F) and 295/35ZR20 (R).
Of course Michelin SS isn't made in the 245/40 size, so I'll move up to
255/40 in front and the stock size in the rear ... when it's time to change.
I now have 5K on my 2012 Rapide. (I have never liked Bridgestone's or
Pirelli's anyway and always preferred Michelin's.) Ride, grip. mileage and noise should then improve and perhaps even the steering shutter!

There was an issue - the dealer said there is a service bulletin dealing with this issue but did not get much of an explanation except something needed to be glued and it is an easy fix it seems.
So if you ever hear a click sound when accelerating or letting go of the gas - have it checked out.
