There is a UK "experience day" car that had ~135k on it last time it was mentioned
There is also a UK guy daily driving his with 115k on it
(don't ask how many clutches they have had - I've no idea )

My 2006 AMV8 has 33,000. A friend of Mine has a 2006 AMV8 with 68,000 miles. He does most of his own service work and it runs like a top!

Mileage is not a big issue on Gaydon era Astons...they are robust, very well built and the engines and drivetrains are pretty much bulletproof. You're better off with a well cared for higher mileage aston, with proper records and documents/service history than you are with a car that has sat for years with a few miles on it. These cars need to be excercised and enjoyed!

Mikey,

Do you know whether either of these car has needed any major mechanical work (like engine/gearbox work -- I don't mean clutches )?

I "only" have 33k on my 06. Agree with Sunir that they run better with a regular workout.

64K on my 2006 daily driver

I agree with the previous comment that it is better to buy one that hasn't just been sitting. I've put 46K on mine in just over 2 years and it has been awesome. No leaks or rattles - still feels and acts like it did at 17K when I bought it. I did the factory tour and driving experience in Gaydon a couple years ago and everyone I asked about the engine lifespan just shrugged their shoulders. I finally got a couple guys to say they expect 300K from the V8 engine if maintained properly. Now if I could just get more than 10K miles out of a set of rear tires ...

There's a picture of a guy with his 150,000 mile V8V in (IIRC) the current issue of Aston Martin Magazine. Very cool...
