Best Alarm Choices With External Sensors

Long story short, I walked up on two guys trying to steal my car. I didn't realize at the time. It wasn't until I was getting into my car and noticed all of the marks on my window tint from the failed attempts of slim jim. They also tore up/out molding between windows, and destroyed the window molding from rubbing it with slim jim.

If anybody has recommendations on a good alarm with external sensors to prevent this from happening again, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you

So it looks like I need to look at possibly getting a dual zone sensor installed with maye a Viper or Python alarm. Let me know if anybody has thoughts on these alarms, and if you have had an aftermarket installed or are using your factory alarm on your Aston.
Amazon.com: Directed Install essentials Dual Zone Motion Sensor 508d: Car Electronics Amazon.com: Directed Install essentials Dual Zone Motion Sensor 508d: Car Electronics

Another company had a device that was supposed to directly prevent slim jim activity, but not much info on it and no reviews.

Thanks,

I've got the factory hi-spec alarm on my DB9 (with tilt & motion sensor). I can't lock the car when I wash it because the alarm will go off (usually when I do the windshield). Not sure if would go off if someone was fiddling with the side windows though. I'll try it later.

I think I may have the same, I never locked the car when I wash...and most of the time I use the 2 bucket method using ONR so it's not a spray type method.

^^^^ now that's what I call a bucket list!

I'll show you sometime...I use a product called Optimum No Rinse in my garage, it's a game changer, using one microfiber to wash with the solution in one bucket and the other bucket w warm water to rinse...just awesome perfect results ready for clay or whatever the next step is. I ussually use a spray wax/glaze for a quick clean as I dry with a second micro fiber...literally minutes and the car looks showroom...and the paint is super well taken care off, protected and all the contaminents come right off w the ONR.
