Body Kit for Aston
Same here.. That's probably the only kit on an exotic that I've seen that's an improvement over OEM.

Curious indeed. Comparatively speaking, isn't that like dressing up a new Mustang to look like a Honda Fit?
I agree that the kit is counter to McLaren's intent and that the kit does have many Lambo design cues.
Unfortunately, the MP4 is one seriously style-free car. It 's as if the designers brief was to come up with an ambiguous blob of a car that one could point to and say: "It's function over form."
No kidding. But did they have to make it THAT much function over form? It may be a great car, but c'mon, who wants to look at it (or be inside it...just look at that steering wheel hub with logo for something that looks utterly crap).
At least the kit, Lambo or not, fixes the exterior and fixes most of the interior (except for the wheel).

I've never really warmed to the design of the Macca. It sort of looks like a kit car to me. I know it's fantastic to drive, but it appears that nearly all of the development effort went into the engineering instead of the design. For me, that's a deal-breaker (assuming I could afford the car in the first place!).
