my 07 vantage alarm just started going off, and both key fobs don't work. manually opened the door then put the key in ignition brings up an error code that the system is faulty, anyone get this before? i'm going to head to the dealer first thing in the morning if i can't figure it out before then. thanks!

 

I suspect you have a battery failure in the alarm unit. My 2007 V8 Vantage's alarm battery failed a couple of years ago. This is a common problem. The new unit (no, the battery isn't replaceable) costs about $150 and its less than an hour of labor to replace. It's located behind one of the wheel liners.
