Trunk Lid Swap
Trunk Lid Swap
Has anyone here seen a regular V8 Vantage swap out the trunk lid for the redesigned lid on the V8 Vantage S?
I guess this type of modification would depend on whether the rear quarter panels on the V8 Vantage S are same as on the regular V8 Vantage, as the edges of the spoiler start at the rear quarter panels and would have to align with the trunk lid.
ps - I am a fan of the larger spoiler but would not want to go the way of mounting on an after-market trunk lid spoiler.

It can be done and I have seen others do it. I too am a fan of the larger lip spoiler on the S and V12V and I don't like the add-on bits sold by some vendors. It's just a shame you have to replace the entire hatch. I can't imagine that would be a cheap upgrade considering the paintwork involved.
The rear quarters are the same...its just the lid that is different..this is the same for DB9 to DBS also.
We had a client with a DB9 who wanted the DBS boot spoiler look..are body shop took a mold of are demo DBS and made the template to mold into the clients DB9 boot lid.. The final job looks just like an original DBS boot lid spoiler...it's an option for u. I'm sure ur local dealer has a body shop that can take the mold of a v8vS in stock to then make fit into ur lid
