Hi just got a 2006 vantAge and my subwoofer is not working. Anyone know where the sub amp is located any suggestions.

 

 

Looks like one could be just for sub.

 

Thats strange. I blast my music and the sub always works... is it still there??? There again could be a loose connection somewhere?

 

FWIW, I had Sub problems on my 9, and after much troubleshooting, it turned out to be a software issue. I had different "symptoms", but hopefully your issue could be an easy fix?

 

thanks , well been into the subwoofer connection good there they use a very good snap in connection like all over the car im a helicopter mechanic for living and there is a lot of similar aircraft type building techiniques. I need to buy a shop manual for this car on cd and parts book so I can see where all the components are does anyone know if the amp is under the wheel well covers. thanks

 

PROBLEM SOLVED AND IF ANYBODY EVER LOSES THE SUBWOOFER ITS ACTUALLY THE SPEAKER ITSELF THE ELASTIC RING DETACHED FROM THE CONE. I CUT THE TRAY OUT OF THE SUB ENCLOSURE ON TOP AND HAVE THE SAME ABS PLASTIC I WILL SILICONE AND POP RIVET IN PLACE AFTER I GET A HIGHER QUALITY SPEAKER INSTALLED. CHEAP FIX.
