Nice job. How did you cut the taper and did you remove the AM logo on the hood?

^^^^^ I removed both front and rear AM badges, the rear center stop light and the roof antenna in order to make a clean install. Trimming is done with knifeless tape.

It really looks professionally done. Is it a special type of vinyl? Where can you purchase that?

I just eyeballed it, following the contours of the bonnet and laid them out using blue painters tape. I looked at Racer_X's stripe and I tried to mimic that. He has a V12V though, so I had to adapt it a little bit for my car. Like his, the stripe increases in taper from the nose to the base of the windshield and then decreases as works it's way over the roof and the tail of the car.

Yes, It's 3M Scotchprint 1080 automotive film. I bought mine from metrorestyling.com.

Beautiful job on the stripes! You need to go into the business (and be sure to open a Central Texas location when you do). I wonder if local window tinting and clear bra installers offer vinyl kits.

Two very nice cars K-F! Was just wondering how I would decide which car to take out (if my garage was so nicely stocked). What criteria to use? Great to see your striping work btw, thanks for posting the photos.

My stripe outdoors now that it finally stopped raining. I'll take better pictures at a later date.

Oh, and I decided to do the inside of my Sport Pack wheels in satin black while I was at it to make brake dust less noticeable whilst making the face of the wheel stand out more.

I'll be ordering new Pilot Super Sports this week for the front because these tires are toast.

And before anyone asks: no, the wheels are not curbed. That is just a reflection of my garage lighting.
