How hard would it be to GT3 bodykit your Vantage?

I really like the GT3 look on the Vantage.
The enlarged rear valances, the aggressive front spoiler etc ...
Looking at Aston Martin Racing pictures it looks like a lots of body panels need to be replaced. Not to mention the new offset wheels on the car.
If you opted for side opening exhausts well thats another matter as well.

Like everything Aston, I'm sure it can be done if you throw enough money at it. My guess that it would be extremely expensive though. Aside from the cost, do you really want to do this to a road car? I'm thinking about the unwanted attention, decreased visibility, constantly scraping the front splitter, etc., etc.

Hmmmm. You could put some adjustable suspension perhaps.
Or maybe a slightly toned down version of the kit.
The Mercedes do their DTM CLKs which run ok on the normal road and look great.

You know - stuff like that slows your car down from both weight and drag, and if you run a wing like that you best have some serious bracing underneath. Those are for racing - high downforce in the corners on speed - they actually kill off your top end by quite a bit. Unless you have super stiff suspension and sticky race compound tires your benefit from that except as poseur will be zero. On a street car they look ridiculous.

I'll bet the GT3 boot is totally different to spread the down force
All that down force is pointless on a road car
You need to be doing so decent speeds to get any benefit

Aston Martin's race cars are very different than their street cars. The whole front end is cut off just in front of the A-pillars and completely redone.
I took this last year at Road Atlanta as they put the car together before its debut race at the 12 Hours of Sebring. None of what you see is the same as the road car. You can see where the chassis was cut, it's the short bit of aluminum between the A-pillar and the carbon fiber wheel well.
