V8V All seasons

I need new tires ...I don't plan on driving in the winter, March - October/Nov ..maybe the occasional trip in the city/slush.

I'm looking at all seasons, and have been quoted

245/35/19 & 275/35/19 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S

I'm told the fronts are not available in the OEM size of 235/40R19 ...

do you think going 245/35/19 is a bad idea? will the tires protrude too much on the front? will the handling be affected that much?

I don't track / race the car...I'm a city slicker drive 5-10KM a day max always under 140KM / h

That's a nice tire, nearly as good as a summer performance tire. You will be fine with slightly wider front, won't even notice it.

i have 245/40R19 tires up front on my V8V. the overall diameter is 0.3" taller than the original tires, which is about a 1.1% difference. i have no issues at all.

the A/S 3 in 245/35R19 is 0.6" shorter than the original tires, a 2.3% difference.

i'm not an expert by any means, but it looks like 245/40R19 is closer to spec.

The optional "sport pack" tire sizes for the '07 Vantage were 245/40/ZR19 for the fronts and 285/35ZR19 for the rears. Check your owners manual...

I have changed to these sizes, as there are many more "pairs" available from different manufacturers...they fit fine on the standard 19" rims, and there is no appreciable speedometer error, that I can notice. I would not recommend a different pair of tire sizes front to rear...you should be able to find the Michelins in these sizes.

FYI, I currently have a set of Hankook Ventus V12 Evo's mounted as my street tires, and I also have a set of Bridgestone RE-11's for use as my track tires. Both ride extremely well, with little or no noise.

If you do "no" wet driving at all, you may prefer the "extreme performance" Bridgestone summer tire, as it does perform better in the dry than the V12 Evo's. I have no experience with the Michelins you are considering...YMMV

Continental DWS is a fantastic all season tire that lasts a very long the but still has very good grip.

I switched my vantage over to the Bridgestone Potenza RE11, they're a great performance tire with tons of grip! and they're pretty good all season as well

So I needed up going with the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S ..could not be happier for an all season, super quiet, wet traction is amazing.

Question...what tire pressure's should I be running? Factory spec or something else? (since the rears are not exactly factory sizes)

235/40R19

rear

275/35R19

Should I still follow 36PSI rear, 33PSI fronts?
