Metallic Blue or Pearl White Wrap ???

I have a new wrap going on my Vantage and I was set on Pearl white.

However I have come across a nice metallic blue and cant decide between them.

What would you guys choose between the 2 colours? (Ellipsis thanks for the pic )

Blue. White is so popular now that it's getting to the "overdone" point IMO.

IMO If you're going to wrap a car, don't do it in a colour that looks great in paint, otherwise it'll look like a poor paint job.....hence in this case I would not do the blue as I doubt you'll get the same depth as the blue paint in your photo The more satin appearance of the white paint in your pics looks much more attainable in a wrap. Hey, and so what if it goes out of faishion, you can just change it, right!

^^^^ agree. Maybe if you got a matte or satin blue so it is obvious that it is not meant to look like a bad gloss paint job.

$5k for a full wrap.

Im not expecting the wrap to provide a photo finish result but a result that will improve the appearance.

If the sample on the car looks too flat, even with the metallic flake, I may opt for pearl white since that the white/pearl flip does look good. Its very hard to capture in a photo. Has to be seen for real.

A wrap will never look as good as original AM paint upon close inspection, but that's not to say it won't look good. I've seen wraps that look nearly as good as paint.

I vote for satin white pearl.. like this vette. Fatfrank is right, don't do a color that looks better in paint.

I do like satin but have seen some satin wraps that look badly scratched but that was probably because the the owner did not look after it properly and had cheap car washes.

+1, white is the most popular color in American, so my vote goes to blue.

Got some more blue samples arriving today. The vinyl actually absorbs some of the paint colour under the wrap . Darker cars will have a slight effect on the final finish colour.

If I did go for blue I wouldnt want it to turn out with less 'depth' like:

My two favourite choices! Cobalt Blue looks amazing on the Vantages! So does Vertigo Blue. My Porsche is Cobalt Blue as well actually which was a added option when new.

I would go with the blue.

BTW, if anyone has a Vertigo blue Vantage for sale, please let me know! I can't seem to find one ANYWHERE!

Alin
