Wow, your Aston is gorgeous! Whoever buys it will be lucky for sure, I wish I could add it to our stable! Good luck with the sale, can't wait to see what you replace it with!

Jay, what is this "courtesy trade" you're referring to. I certainly understand the tax savings of trading but I'm not really sure what you're referring to.
The dealer can process the sale of your car through them so that the transaction weighs against the purchase of you new car. If you get 60K for your car and the DBS costs 160, then you pay only the sales tax on the remaining 100K. It may be possible to do this with out the dealer but I'm not sure how. It will depend on your states sales tax and the regs.

Funny, I was thinking the same thing. My V12V is very local to me. I have seen it from time to time and had regret over selling it. Then I go back to a new ownership experience and my head spins. We should have talked about this and switched V12V's. Then we would have kept the cars we liked and felt like we were trying something new. That would have been a 6speed thread for the ages.

Sometimes I think of buying a piece of land, and building a decent size house in the center of a very modern five car garage and small shop.

Be careful. I had a 3 car, filled it and bought a house with a 5 car. Now as you can imagine, I have one empty bay and an itchy trigger finger.

Garage spaces are like musical chairs...always one too few.

I've got 6 bays and 7 cars...
