I'm wondering if this is why my car has been in the shop for 4 weeks now when I was initially told they had the replacement pedals in stock, yet I haven't heard anything in about 2 weeks. I haven't missed it given the atrocious midwestern winter though.

Does anybody know if this is old news or a new development?

 

This is the same (2nd) recall, but expanded to include earlier models. At least that's what I'm told.
