Different Dynos with Different Numbers
I just dyno'd my car yesterday (06' DB9). Below is the video. 388 rwhp is what is registered at. Anyone with similar for a DB9?

min trans loss i ever saw 55BHP, max 75BHP most sitting around 65BHP
388+65 = 453 - so bang on for a 450BHP DB9

Well Said SWCGT! "its all HP-seconds. whoever puts more power down to the ground for the longest, will win the race ". Many guys concentrate on shifting based on Peak Torque, but its the area under the HP curve that's key. For the Vantage V8 it would be nice to have a higher RPM peak, but the way it is, the way to maximize area under the HP curve, and therefore the best place to shift is just before Red-line is hit.
Mike (Bamford Rose),
What's the highest RWHP you've seen on a DB9 and what did they do to get the most bang out of the proverbial buck? I know mine is an '06 but some mods might be nice. I've talked with Stuart and he's had some great ideas.

engine out of car: as above + cylinder head porting, inlet manifold change and sump change for about 570 flywheel bhp / 505rwhp
570 package really does need chassis stiffening, brake and suspension upgrade. 520 package gets away with just needing a brake upgrade to return a balanced car, but of course would benefit upgrade of all areas especially if an older car is a bit dynamically tired
