Karl thanks for reminding me of this one!
Last question
Are the front pads a common part on the floating and dual cast rotors?

The 6-piston calipers and brake pads are the same for:
  • all V8 Vantage S;
  • all V8 Vantage from 12.25MY to current
  • all Vantage GT/N430

All V8 Vantage S use floating discs.

Regular V8 Vantages built between start of 12.25MY (changeover to 6-piston front calipers) and October 2013 used the same floating discs as the V8 Vantage S.

Regular V8 Vantages built since October 2013 use the dual-cast rotors.

All Vantage GT/N430 use the dual-cast rotors.

Are either the dual-cast or 2-piece rotors more resistant to the dreaded hub rust of the older ones? Is it possible to update my early-2012 V8V to the later, post-12.25MY larger rotors and calibers?
