Sportshift downshifting bogging V8V
Sportshift downshifting bogging V8V
Just got nearly new (4500 miles) 2009 4.7 V8V roadster. Great car so far, just trying to understand the gearbox and its moods.
Read all the clutch/shifting, etc posts here, but was wondering, is it normal for the car to bog heavily before downshifting when you push into the throttle..
If I get on the pedal, it feels like its going to nearly stall before executing the downshift. Clearly paddle shifting is more to this wierdo transmissions liking!
Also have a '14 Cayman with the PDK, which is pretty amazing.

Two things
Clutch learns & avoid fighting "creep" mode if you can
Adding just a little throttle in traffic if creep mode has engaged confuses the hell out of it
I managed to stall it in my last ASM1 car

Thanks.. I've started doing the calibration "learns" on most cold starts as described by Irish in his post. Definitely changed things after the first few, more predictable clutch engagement.
Is there any way to determine if its actually in "creep" mode (what a strange term!)
