Last Saturday the AMOC East hosted their annual weekend retreat which included track time at Lime Rock Park in Connecticut. I'm happy to report that my new 2013 Vantage S acquitted itself very well with a 4th overall behind two race cars and a Porsche 911 Turbo Carrera S. I improved my time by almost one full second (which I'm told is a lot...) over last years results. I happily beat a 2014 Vanquish... and a nicely modified 2013 Porsche Carrera 4S.

It was a blast and it was also wonderful to see so many vintage Astons being used as they should. If you live in the Northeast, this is a must do event if you love the marque.

It is a 1967 Aston Martin Lola race car...Owned by Aston enthusiast Jim Freeman. Wicked fast and very intimidating while looming large in my rear view mirror.
