I'm insulted. I don't even drink beer.

Hmm. Guess that dealership will never get my business.

It's okay, I can drink enough for the two of us...

Wow that's got a lot of miles. I thought the 42k+ on my '07 was high! But that can be used to bring the price down I'm sure.

I love that blue. I've only seen it on a couple cars and really love it.

Yeah, it's supposedly pretty rare, and I like that it's a 4.7... I don't mind high miles because of reliability, but it's 4k away from 50k... and I have a feeling it's going to start scaring people off soon and I'd take a bigger hit down the road if I drove it a lot.

I've also been looking at this one... anyone have experience with X Motorsport in Chicago?

I'm a fan of black cars, but I'm not sure if I dig the vantage in black. Can you still see all the curves of the car in person? I'm OCD so it would be meticulously cleaned and maintained as there's no point in having a dirty black car...

Only drawbacks I can really see is lack of premium audio, but I like how the 08's have the 09+ center arm rest... looks great in the red stitch and the price seems about right...

Lacking premium sound is a dealbreaker for me.

rohnin is infamous around these parts
Speaking from experience buying an 07 Vantage and selling it 3 months later at a big loss, go with the cleanest car you can find.

I was going to buy the one in SF but the seller gave me the runaround even though I went all the way up from LA to try and see it, but anyway it's not a one owner car (he is on this forum as well).

Spend a little more for peace of mind!

How do you know it doesn't have premium audio? You can't tell from the supplied pictures. Also ask why the TPMS light is on.

It appears, however, to have the AM engine upgrade to 400 HP, i.e. the black intake manifold-can someone else please confirm?
If you are serious about it, you'll need to take the VIN to your local AM dealer and get a build printout to confirm what's on the vehicle.

And if you find out you don't like black, you can always have it wrapped .

Oh interesting, I didn't notice the black intake-manifold...

I just emailed someone at my local AM dealership asking for a build sheet and if they could confirm the audio. I said it doesn't have 700w because in the carfax options it says 160w (I'm hoping it's wrong... and if it has the "sport package" upgrade is a big plus)

I'll ask about the TPMS... good eye!

In this photo, you can see the leather beginning to come off the instrument cluster hood:

How simple would it be to fix this?

TPMS light and warning will come on if you let car sit idling for too long without moving. Not necessarily a big concern.

The car does have a Power Pack, but I doubt the seller knows this so I wouldn't bring it to their attention.

This is starting to look like a pretty good deal.

Not to mention, Chicago is only a 5 hour car-ride away, which makes going to see it and bringing it back so much simpler...

As I recall you can get the instrument cluster shroud from AM for around $500. Althought a leather shop could probably fix. tho they're prone to pull back in that area.

THe secondowner only put around 1000 miles on it.

Looks like a pretty good car.

Nothing a little contact cement couldn't fix.
