I had a super busy weekend so I didn't have time to get the damaged vinyl replaced. However, I met with a guy a friend recommended and he cut out the scuffed portion of the wrap. You can see the missing clear vinyl if you look at it, but most passersby won't notice. And it took him less than 20 minutes to do it so it worked perfectly with my schedule! I'll have those panels as well as some others replaced once my schedule loosens up a bit.

This, gents, is why we wrap it before we tap it.

Um, wrap your car before tapping it into buildings.

Note that the vinyl isn't a force field or actually magic. It won't protect the panels or paint from serious damage. However, it's worth its weight in gold for things like rocks or my stupidity.

 

Glad to see that it was just surface paint transfer on the film. WHEW!

 

Hit with some 3M defender spray until you get it wrapped again!
