No doubt they make a lot of money. I guess my point is when your business model is the tacky stuff that customers can add to their car becomes a branded profit center . . . then you've lost your way.

To me, the "Q" branding takes a timeless, classic design and gussies (yes, I used the word "gussy"!) it up with stuff that I think dates itself very quickly. Sometimes, the customer isn't always right.

Wow, I feel old now saying that. Now get off my lawn you young punks!

Irish is absolutely right. But here's the thing: when the Vantage first came out . . . it didn't look like anything else except an Aston. And it just looked great.

I like it, it doesn't stray to far from the current models and yet takes that look forward. Notably the grill placement.

But the two things that grabbed my attention first were the wheels and the nose. I suspect the wheels are a love it or hate it thing, and I love them. And more importantly, I noticed a complete lack of a panel gap. Wonder if the whole front clip tilts forward. Either way, the lack of the gap makes the lines really stand out and yet keeps them nice and subtle.

Production cars will be very interesting to lay eyes on I have a feeling.

Two things: I hate the headlights. I hate the curve that defines the leading edge of the nose of the car. Both make this car look like a Lotus.

The more I look at it the more I like this car. My only issue is that they will only make 10 of those. I liked that James Bond drove tricked out road cars like the DB5, Vanquish or DBS but now he'll be driving a "concept" car and it's just not the same.

The DBS in Casino Royale was technically a pre-production car - it was a DB9 in DBS clothing, so I'm sure the DB10 will be giving us a lot of clues as to the design of the next generation of cars.

The DB10 could be an Aston Bodied AMG-GT chassis and a precursor of the next generation Vantage.

Using that chassis would certainly cut down on the design time (and cost) needed to make an limited edition of ten...food for thought!

The upper half above the leading edge looks totally unrelated to the lower half. They really don't work together. That iconic grill doesn't look remotely 'correct' because of the upper half which does not follow the grill contours.

Oh, and wait till you get a look at the God-awful rear diffuser. It looks not unlike one of those 5 mph tacked on bumpers from the 80s.

The grille looks like they peeled a slab of the bumper's skin and you can see the skeleton underneath.

After watching that video, it does look like a reskinned MB AMG-GT. And I don't like it.

If the new DB10 is going to sound and look like that, I'm no longer interested in future models.

It kind of looks like a motorboat in the front. Not interested in the car. Just the movie.

Bleh, very uninspiring car. Maybe it will look better in the movie after some editing magic
