Aston Martin V8V steering feedback

So I have had my 08 AMV8 (6speed manual) for about 7 months now. I have installed KW coilovers, RSC livetune, Wilwood 2 piece rotors, and RSC lightweight clutch/flywheel kit, and RSC air filters.

The car feels great at low speeds but at high speeds (70 mph+) and on imperfect roads i can feel every single dimple on the road. I mean my old M3 use to have very sensitive steering feel, but the AM gives me the feel of every little thing on the road. Sometimes I feel like i have a wheel balance problem but then on smooth roads it feels fine. If there are any modulations in the road or the road is imperfect I feel my steering wheel pusing/pulling or vibrating like a lot.

Again, on smooth roads at any speed it feels fine but on any minor imperfection it translates directly to the steering wheel. Am i being a wussy or is there something wrong?

Is this normal?

My immediate thought is the coilovers. Got any specs for those?

Hi,
I'm new to the AM forum, I have a 2015 Vantage GT on order, not here yet.

For your steering, that amount of communication is great for telling you about the road. It's one of the things I love about my Lotus Elise, it tells you about everything in and on the road. I tell people that I can tell if a dime is heads, or tails by driving over it

I was just reading in Grant Neal's book The Definitive Guide to Gaydon Era Aston Martin. that for 2009 they stiffened up the steering mount with a Cross bar to help reduce kick back and judder on rough roads. My guess is that when you stiffened up the suspension it is transmitting more of the road input back through the steering wheel.

The KW V3 with linear springs the fronts are 200lb rate and rears are 250lb. I running them at recommended rebound (8 from full hard)and compression rates (5 from full hard) by KW.

Also my car has 31k miles on it.

Thanks for your input it makes sense. My E92 M3 is fully tracked out and it was very sensitive also, but it was fully stripped with recaros, cage, clubsport coilovers, and solid bushings/trans/diff mount.

The aston feels a bit more sensitive. Maybe i need to soften up the dampener settings.

The alignment was done by GMG racing, wheels were balanced twice and drives straight as an arrow just a little sensitive on steering wheel feedback.
