Nice Car Mitch,
We work on most of the Aston Martins in Portland (probably 15 or so) I also own one, 09 DBS black/black 6spd manual. Let me know if you need anything or we can help you. Craig Nelson, The Jag Shop 5710 E. Burnside St. Portland , OR. 97215

I wanted to give two big shout outs and endorsements:
1) http://www.thejagshop.com/ 5710 E Burnside St, Portland, OR 97215, (503) 731-9919
For Portland, OR SW WA area residents - I went in to the shop just to check it out and hopefully have a trustworthy, and proficient local independent shop for work on my AM DB9. As soon as I pulled up, I heard a very tell tale exhaust note spark up as soon as I exited the vehicle. I knew instantly it was an Italian exotic and I was guessing a Ferrari 360, or 430? Peaked around the corner and there it was....beautiful. In the lot were various other Ferrari's, Jags, etc etc. Walking inside were some pristine examples of locally owned area exotics - I won't go into specifics but needless to say there were some serious $$$'s sitting inside the showroom/waiting area and I was just drooling all over myself like I will be in another 40yrs....beautiful and someplace I would love to just hang out and smell the petrol fumes.
Craig of the Jag Shop greeted me and put me at ease. Remember I'm still a new owner of my AM and I was very reluctant to leave the vehicle for some minor service items. They took care of the DB9 in a very reasonable amount of time, and even went above and beyond what I had expected regarding some smaller items. I was going crazy without the car in my garage, but now I have it back and am assured that it is good to go for another 12-mos with high quality fluids, as well as very reasonable (in comparison) fees to get her back to health. Kudos to Craig and his team - a very nice shop and great work. I would love to own that place and just hang out and answer emails all day
Craig I envy your position. I would love to do what you are doing and I will be living my live through you - great shop, loved it!!! p.s. thanks for showing me the trunk release button LOL.
2) http://www.moweraxle.com/licenseplatebrackets/astonmartinfordgt.html
I just had to run a front plate (WA/OR reqmt) - ugh!!!! So I went with Mower Deck Axle Co., LLC., 710 State Rte.26 - Willet, NY 13863 phone 1-607-863-4208. Previous front plate applications left me wanting with flimsy materials as well as sub-par work. Mower Deck Axle Co. sent some beautiful milled AL hardware that was really up to snuff. Fits the full width of American license plates so there won't be any wind resistant (not endorsing speeding here ) bending of the flimsy American plates. This must be some of the highest quality work I've seen for tow hook plate options - I love it. Sure it's overkill, but it is really worth the money and is excellently made and shipped. Hey, if you have to hang a wart on your AM you may as well make it as pretty as can be. Great kit and I would highly recommend it.
Dropped the car off at The Jag Shop in Portland, OR and am having the center exhaust section sent to VelocityAP for the x-pipe modification, and then also getting the ECU flash, filters, and the aft cat-delete mods put on. I'm excited to finally hear the v-12 vs two I-6's in parallel
So I have an opportunity to step into a DBS, but I would have to unload my DB9 first. I would appreciate some real world market private sale value for my car if anyone has experience? I know it is certainly higher than the trade-in price I received at a local dealer. I have an idea, but I would rather hear from the seasoned veterans who've lived and breathed AM's. Here are the particulars, and thank you in advance:
AM doesn't know how to do ugly so they're all just variations of beautiful. Blond or brunette, ***** or ***, it all comes down to personal taste and it's good to know what you want and go after it. So go after it
