Audio options

Is the premium audio system better than regular audio system? I dont even know what the regular audio system sounds like.

Is the B&O worth the extra money ontop of the premium audio? Can you really tell the difference?

Consensus is Premium is the sweet spot
Worth the extra over standard and not far off B&O with out the large extra cost

I have the B&O in my DBS and it is not as good as the Bowers and WIlkins that was in my Jag XKR.

I wouldn't even look at a car that has the regular 160w sound system. In my opinion, that system has no business being in an Aston.

For the cost, the Premium is hard to beat.

But, but, but I have the 160w system :'(

It's okay tho, it sounds better than my lexus' upgraded stereo and that is good enough for me (thats what I tell myself)

The true Premium audio system in any and all Astons is bolted to the engine block, hung below the floor pan and routed out the rear bumper.

The relative worth of the various choices for playback of recorded music is entirely based on your personal tastes and expectations. The Premium is really nice but if I were shopping for pre-loved, I wouldn't walk away from a great car/great deal just because it didn't have that. But that's just me.

I will be looking for a used Aston in a couple of months. Premium Audio will not be on my must have list. It will be on my nice to have list. Both lists are pretty short though.

the premium sound system is one the best Ive heard in any car. Aston really did a nice job on the premium sound. I would NOT buy a car without premium sound.

Agreed. I have the premium system and it sounds fabulous while I'm parked, but in 6,000 miles this year it's mostly been switched off... as it interferes with my enjoyment of the sound out the pipes.

Having owned both, I can say although good, B&O is not worth the extra over the premium system (which, as stated above, is outstanding). It does look pretty, though, LOL.

I've never heard the standard system.
