Apparently the word "*****" is banned by the forum? Seems a bit ridiculous... Anyway, is that wood trim also custom?

Huh? That's pretty crazy. "Dials" from now on apparently. The wood is oem. Same wood on the door caps as well. I know it's not as popular as the Piano black or Carbon these days but I'm a big fan of the wood look. I hope "wood" isn't also taboo?

Little known secret: burr walnut panel and door caps are a factory option, my 2007 vantage was the first one delivered that way. Makes a major difference in elegance.

Just drove a new V12S with Alcantara Steering Wheel

I had not realized just how much nicer it feels for the Alcantara Steering Whell. What a difference. Driving a V12S when the temperature is zero (seriously) outside is pretty much worthless, however, I was an experience. Steers a bit nicer with the new steering ratio than my 09 V8, but overall I think the V8 for everyday driving is not a whole lot different.

My seats are still in the shop, but they sent me pictures of the pattern we will be using for the center portion of the street. The stitching will be lighter grey instead of the darker color to match the exterior and the pattern will be slightly smaller and stretched a small amount to waterfall down the seat, but mimics the new Aston stitching.
