I have been lurking for quite some time and I think timing will put me in the market for a v8v pretty soon. I strongly considered a used v12 but think in the end, it will be a stretch financially and too much car for me.

I discussed with some members that got smoking deals off msrp on their v8 vantages. Sometimes, $30-40k off msrp. We are talking $95-99k on a brand new manual v8v!

Anyone know what time of the year typically dealers do these deals? Or are those days gone? I did a quick search on Cars.com and Autotrader.com and DupontRegistry.com and most of them are the GTs. I am probably one of the few that do not like the GTs. I think they made them look cheap with the decals and the colors. Would prefer the normal v8v in manual transmission. Input recommended!

 

The decals are not compulsory. My understanding is they are removable if already on the car, correct?

There was a thread a bit ago about this. The side GT stripes are vinyl, and could be removed. The extra cost optional color on the a-pillar and lipstick are paint.

if you order one you can have the GT side stripes deleted at no cost.

 

How much is a well equipped gt going for? Don't they have most options like backup camera and front parking sensors and bluetooth as standard now?

Anyone see the skyfall silver in person? Is that closer to tungsten or lightning or titanium?

 

You're talking about the one in Washington? They said they were firm on price. Looks like the 2015s are selling close to MSRP. There are a couple with even more options above 130k. Skyfall is a great color there's a vanquish here in the color.
