Q by Aston Martin

Has anyone had experience using this service? How hard is it to get details and pricing?

I've used it extensively. It's not so hard. Most dealers already have the prices.

Interesting
A few of the UK guys have struggled to get them to agree to do requested work and have waited days or weeks to get pricing for what they will do.
By their nature, as the bespoke arm of AM, they don't publish a price list.
I guess they do have established prices for common requests though.

I'm guessing the price lists are for "standard" Q parts, like interior/exterior carbon fiber trim.

They wouldn't have set prices for truly bespoke work.

Very true. My car is full of bespoke parts that don't show up on any options list or window sticker. How much was paid for them? Who knows....

All "Q" options are on the window sticker.

Yeah, those are the standard Q parts. For example, if you get a base V8V but want dry carbon trim pieces, the window sticker will show charges for both the carbon trim (non-Q option) *AND* dry carbon trim (optional pieces that are offered through Q - these are "standard" Q parts).

Bespoke is entirely different, but done by Q as well. So if you want blue fiber woven through your dry carbon, that'd be bespoke - those parts would be made as one-off parts just for you, and not for anyone else (unless they specifically asked for them).

Q supplies parts as options (such as the dry carbon fiber trim pieces), and Q also offers bespoke services (these are one-off jobs, and prices are not listed because they are by nature entirely custom). These two types of offerings are completely different.

Some Q stuff is more bespoke than other Q stuff, and doesn't show up on the sticker for whatever reason.

It's just hard getting pricing when ordering a car, dealerships I don't think have a price list even for the common Q options unless there is a Q car they can look at on the lot

Every dealership in the U.S. has been provided a "Q" price list for the most common "Q" options.

I've been to a few dealers and rarely been able to get direct answers, sometimes even for non-Q options. Maybe I'll ask again this weekend for a straight up price list
