How bad is it?

Hey guys, I had a bit of an issue. My Vantage is not playing any audio at all out of the speakers. It is equipped with premium audio. When I select audio, the premium audio logo appears and is then replaced by nothing. The temperature display works fine. Everything else is fine. The nav screen is not opening, but I am not too concerned with that. I plan to have the car taken in next week, but my brother is visiting this weekend and he wanted to go on a road trip.

Anyone here know a quick fix for this? I've driven the car about 300 miles without any other issues since this happened.

To describe the issue exactly:
- premium audio fails to open
- no ability to see volume adjustments from **** or steering wheel, no sound
- input sources are available but none produce noise
- can't change cd or remove a cd, can't change am/fm channels, can't change tracks or see any music
- i can hear the beeping from the parking sensors, I am not sure if the system has it's own independent speakers.

My car does not seem to have a battery reset. It's a 2010 V8V. I have checked the trunk and under the passenger seat.

Does anyone have a quick fix here? I would love to be able to resolve this today.

G'Day

Do not disconnect the battery this very likely will create lots of other problems (deleting misfire info etc.).

My approach would be:
Look up the correct fuse (according to my research F43 [Multi media module display/Phone/GPS tuner/Media player] and F66 [Centre console module/Infotainment control module] in the CEM, passenger footwell fuse box, but might be different in your car) for your sound system and pull it for 30 seconds then back in - hopefully this resets the audio and everything is fine.

God luck

Christian
