Long time with Erie Insurance. Been happy, they are a bit picky (like Amica). They're generally rated in the top three with USAA and Amica. Not available everywhere, but should be in Maryland. The insurance on my Aston is very inexpensive

I checked a rate on a V8 and DB9 with State Farm and they gave me a quote on the phone and asked for the vin so they could bond the car right then. I think the DB9 was $89 a month.

@deckman let me know if you end up getting a decent rate with Geico; I've been using them for years but I noticed they don't have Aston in the drop-down menu when you go to get an insurance quote. I was torn between a 911 or a DB9 and ultimately decided the 911 was the best choice at this time, but I want to switch it up in 2 years or so. I'd rather not have to change insurance companies when I change cars next

Just started looking at AMs myself and a little shocked that they don't cover them. I hope they realize they're going to be losing my business (on a total of 3 vehicles) if that's the case and I end up purchasing one in the coming year.

I too had issues with a few insurance companies, but Progressive came through for me with a decent rate.

I contacted Geico, and apparently there's a way to get a quote, even online. Only caveat is it's not instant and they'll email you back a quote (which I received within an hour).

I need to dig out this thread since Progressive is trying to make it difficult.

In the beginning, they made trouble that the VIN wont resolve in their system but my insurance broker figured it out to insure only the value, not the model.
It was pretty much double the premium to the BMW's.

Now two weeks later Progressive send me the 6 month renewal and since they "reviewed" our policy, they doubled the Astons premium.

My broker called me before and no insurance wants to take my Aston or if they do, for a ridiculous premium since my wife scratched the X5 bumper on a Toyota in 2013 what was claimed.

Hagerty or infinity came with very limited miles (1000) and for a high premium back.

Anyone a suggestion where to go, or can I exclude my wife as driver somehow?

I'm with Traveler's, and my rate was far lower than I expected it to be.

Geico used to insure my aston, then due to a not at fault accident + speeding ticket my premium went up almost 300%, I had to suck it up for a year because no one would insure me. Now I am at statefarm and the rates are a lot more reasonable

Not sure comparisons are apples to apples. Is everyone covered with "agreed value"? If not, your insurance company has allot of leeway to pay what "their book" says your Aston is worth if the vehicle is considered a complete loss or stolen. The fine print!
I use a A rated company in Central FL for a couple of cars. The cost is comparable to the State Farm & Progressive with the same deductible. State Farm and Progressive did not have agreed value coverage. It's worth asking the WHAT IF question of your ins company!
