Can someone tell me who the manufacturer of Aston Martin's pads for the v8 vantage is.

By this I mean when you buy pads in a AM box and which have Aston Martin stamped on the pads - what is the name of the pad manufacturer on there as well?

If possible a picture would be appreciated

Thanks
S

They're Brembo pads but I believe they were actually manufactured by Pagid. I saw a pic somewhere that showed that in the back of the pad.

Not sure that can be possible. Different manufacturers? Brembo Vs TMD?

Perfect if the Pagid RS4-2-2 are the oe pad. That's what I'd hoped and seen some pics of elsewhere - a nice pad material. Wanted to be sure it's oe spec as likely to mean less squeal!

Yes pagid definitely an oe manufacturer, but can't see them making pads which are branded as brembo?

Thanks. Am astonished at brembo. Happy that pad compound is standard spec though!

The OEM Pagid pads are very dusty and can be noisy as well...that's why they have been replaced.
Use the "forum search" to find out more, as there are numerous threads on the subject.

What Don said. There are much better options out there than the OEM pads. Lots of people on here use Porterfields. I've got a set in my garage about to go on.

I have also used Porterfield and Hawk Ceramic, they are both less dusty than the brembo...

One of the first things I did when I got the car was to switch to Portfield pads, So much less dust and practically no more squeaking.

I've always liked the pagids. Do you have a link to the porterfields? Not heard of those in the uk - alhough I'm a driver not a mechanic!
