Replacing Battery - 12v supply question

I'm about to replace my '06 DB9 Volante battery (going with the AutoCraft Platinum AGM Battery, Group Size H8, 900 CCA).
My CTEK 7002 battery tender has a power supply mode which the manual says is perfect for replacing batteries as it can keep car settings from being lost.
So would you think I can just plug it into the boot connector, select power supply mode, and I'm good to go?

Hi Mike,

I just tried with may Ctec charger on supply setting: it delivers 13.6 V constant, so perfect to keep the various bizzos in your car alive while you swap batteries, just keep it plugged in the socket in the boot while changing.

Good luck

Christian

Thanks! I was just unsure if the feed would continue to be active from the trunk connection if the battery is removed from the "loop."
