Slipping Sound

Hi,
I have an 2007 Aston Martin V8 Vantage with approximately 38,000 miles on it. Recently Ive been having an issue but only every once in a while when I try to go from a stopped position. It make a sound that sounds like slipping and clanging at the same time. I believe the sound is coming from behind me in the center of the vehicle. I don't think its the clutch. It doesn't seem to be slipping. Could it be the torque converter? I know some about cars but not a termindous amount.

Thank you so much for your help!
Derik

There ain't no torque converter in a manual transmission car, son. Sounds like a clutch issue to me.

Take the car to a dealer or AM specialist.

Honestly, the internet isn't going to help you on this one. No offense, but you just said you've got both a clutch and a torque converter - you need a professional that can put their hands on the car. Describing it to us and applying our feedback isn't going to work out.
