Door handle LED replacement
With the vantage in for Gbox oil service, I had the dealership look into replacing the door handle LED on the drivers side as it no longer works. A relatively simple fix one would assume but apparently it requires replacing the entire inner mechanism of the handle.
Anyone fixed this issue without spending £250 plus labour that they are asking for. Surely a small LED can be replaced without replacing the entire unit

I just pulled out door handle on my DB9
I guess it should be similar
You will have to remove door panel trim from inside
Remove the widow glass just to reach the three nuts holding the handle
It's lot of work to just reach the handle unit but DYI IS POSSIBLE BUT YOU WILL HAVE TO GET THE ASSEMBLY as it looks like led is part of that assembly , if you find the old one may be you can swap it.
