I'm sure it will cost way more than a normal V8/V12 yearly service.

The unit they're showing is fine for a "normal" engine, but how big would it be in order to contain all the oil we use? And how much would that sucker weigh?

I can see this on dry sump systems..even all the oil for a V12 isnt that heavy... But if ppl are complaining about oil cost already.. I don't see this being cost efficient until these units are cloned...just like those ink jet cartridge refill places..

Cool idea though..

Not to go off topic, but have you noticed the price of oil has not come down?
When oil prices shot up, oil for cars went with it and now that oil is down, the oil for cars is the same and a couple of brands are up.

I live in Quebec, Canada..I'm used to paying through my a** for everything.. At $10/gal for milk, makes our low priced $4/gal for fuel look cheap..

Quit whining LOL. Your electricity prices make up for everything else! Try living in rural Ontario...
