Actually a pretty easy job. My upholstery shop charged me like $40 to re glue and make it perfect. hardest part is getting it out but if you can do that the shop should be ble to redo it (plus it may help if they dont know its going to an expensive car!)

Are you in the Austin Area? If so who did you go to for the Upholstery?
I am in LA. Just use yelp to find a shop. This is really no big deal for any shop. Most upholstery shops do large projects so find one thats reasonably priced and good yelp reviews. Thats how i found mine in LA.
Austin auto interiors in round rock did some interior work for mr. turned out nice. take there and have them take a look
Thanks bob! I had them bookmarked. I think I'll take my gauge cluster cover and see if they can fix it first. If they can then I'll take the other parts to them.
I'm so excited to put some tools to my new machine!
As mentioned, it's an easy fix for a good auto upholstery shop.
The problem is that Aston used a glue on the earlier cars that doesn't withstand heat too well. So the glue softens and the leather come loose enough to contract.

I wish they would have just riveted or sewed it on securely. To this day I still don't know if the new glue can withstand heat for years. I even had a nightmare about parking my car outside for a few days lol!
Replacing the original leather with new 'matched' leather is going to be difficult - there is one company that supplies leather to AML. You can get the leather yourself through a third party, but unless you get the OEM leather, I'm not sure how good your chances will be of a perfect match.
Repairing the original leather is easy. They apply new glue (that can withstand the heat) and stretch the original leather back into place (which is how it is done at the factory). It's inexpensive and easy.
If my Vantage is ever out side parked for than 15 min, I cover my car. Other than that it's in the garage. Luckily my leather interior still look knew even though it's an 07
