To this day I haven't seen a picture of this part, does anyone have one installed they can share?

That was my thought, too. But I'm not sure there's anything to rattle against. The only hard-surface contact would be the metal pegs that snap into place, while the rest of the contact is with soft surfaces (alcantara or leather). I'm not looking at the shelf while I type this so I could be wrong. But It'd be an awesome piece that could drop a good 10+ lbs from the car so long as their aren't any rattles.

The standard shelf weighs ~16 lbs. If a carbon fiber replacement can't drop 10 of those, there's something wrong with it lol

yeah, it's a solid piece. just as much for sound deadening as it is to hide the contents of the trunk.

If anyone decides to get the carbon fiber shelf, I would be interested in purchasing their stock one.
