alexhuth is infamous around these parts
Hey guys, I have searched the forums but couldn't find this issue. My window won't roll down on the driver side. It worked last week. It doesn't do any motion while opening or closing the door. I wonder should I open the door up and start poking around or should I got to the dealer? Not sure if it matter but I did set off the alarm before I noticed that it wasn't working. 2007 Am v8v Thanks!

It sounds like his window doesn't move at all, as if he's not getting power to the motor.

I had to have my window regulator replaced because window movement started to struggle (and sound nasty). It still did the door open drop, but not much else.

Thanks for the suggestions guys.
I was able to fix it pretty quickly tonight. I had to pull the plugs on the door module. So I removed the door cover and found the module, I unplugged the left and right plugs ( I was going to do the bottom one but my baby fingers couldn't get it unplugged). After waiting awhile and plugging the two back in I tested the window and eureka!! It worked. I put the panel back on.

I then did the reset procedure and it now would open and close properly while using the door.

This is where I found the info on resetting the door module.
