Dyno of supercharged Aston Martin and new Vantage V12S
Thanks to VelocityAP I now put down, as close as makes no difference, 600HP at the rear wheels. I have their headers, CAT delete, Xpipe and backbox(their most quiet). We have struggled quite a bit with pulley slip and are close to maxing out the injectors and BAP/fuel pump. I think this is about it for this combination of mods. Graph attached. Ignore the midrange TQ spike, it is artificial.
I was surprised to hear the dyno operator tell me that they just had a new AMV12S on the rollers 2 weeks ago. They didn't get a TQ recording, something about inaccessible coils but I asked him compare the 2 HP graphs and print it out for me. I'm not sure about the X-axis(MPH) scaling but it is attached as well. Does anyone have the sportshift III gear ratios??
Needless to say, I am happy with the outcome.

Yes we want details about this. Anything non-stock other than what is listed? What psi? What type of supercharger is being used? How long have you guys been working on this?
I know almost nothing about the V8 motor. What is the stock compression? How much additional force can it safely take? What are the materials used for manufacture of the internals?

Yes, about 670 HP and 500 ftlb TQ at the crank.
A/F ratio and boost are along the bottom.
About 10.5 psi max boost, commanded Lambda .78

Block, heads and intake manifold stock. Had planned to prophylactically rebuild the long block but it became prohibitively expensive as we would be pushing AJV8 beyond all known reliability limits. Block machine work alone was going to cost $20K.Vortech V3Si supercharger and water/air intercooler. Ford racing injectors, boost-a-pump on stock fuel pump at 17.5V. PCM custom tune.
Good question, no idea

Whats even more impressive is the stock V12S is putting down ~512HP to the wheels! At a 15% drivetrain loss (which is highly optimistic on the V12) that is an astonishing 602HP @ Crank.
It appears Aston Martin is clearly underrating the V12S big time which explains why the car is so profoundly different than the standard V12. I wrote in my review that it felt like a good 80-100HP difference, it turns out I was right on the mark. With a few minor tweaks you could easily get that to the 550-560HP range at the wheels (with headers probably even more).
This only makes me want to get the V12S even more now

Owner of the V12
Sorry to creep you out, but I was scrolling thru the forum and saw this post. I'm actually the owner of the V12 in Wilmington. I live near greenville loop and always see you out that direction. Your V8 is actually one of the main reasons I starting looking at Astons. I've heard a lot about your car from Jordan and the guys at National Speed!
