New member of the family.. :)

Just picked up my new Range Rover Sport the other day and couldn't be happier with it. It has the supercharged V8 with 510hp and an incredible 8 speed transmission. Ordered it in Corris Grey with almond leather.. It's really pretty shocking how crazy quick these things are. Looking forward to the coming ECU flash and replacement supercharger pulley that takes it 618hp! (plus a couple extra mpg

I think it looks good parked under my DB9. It's a tight fit requiring the Range Rovers air suspension to be lowered all the way down.. But it gets in there.

Only problem is Land Rover equips these things with a high performance summer tire that is going to be pretty useless during our Midwestern winters.. Can't believe I have to get a set of winter wheels/tires. How could it not be outfitted with an all season tires??

Congrats!
Very impressive that you've got the ceiling height for an Aston on top of a Range Rover lol

Sweet Truck

I'd love to hear your impressions of the RR Sport. My wife really wants one and now that I have the Vanquish, I think I have to buy her something. She has an LR4 and wants an upgrade.

I'm really very happy with it. Of course there are some things that could be better however. The image quality of the surround view cameras could be better for example. Like I mentioned before, I am a little surprised about the choice of tire it came with. I have the optional 21" wheels but it seems that even the 19 and 20 inch wheels include a high performance street tire (as opposed to an all season tire). I just picked up a new set of 20 inch thick oem ake offs I found on Ebay and I'm currently researching tires for the winter months.

Mine is a Supercharged with the Dynamic package which gets you this pretty amazing active suspension. In normal mode the thing rides honestly nicer than anything I've ever driven. Switch to dynamic and the exhaust opens up and the suspension gets noticeably firmer and more responsive. Obviously lots of off road settings which most people, including myself will probably never use. I drove both the V6 as well and it's certainly not a slouch but once you get in V8 there's no going back. I was concerned about the really horrible fuel mileage it's supposed to be getting but I have now run through a couple tanks of gas and I'm averaging 19.5 mpg which is pretty amazing I think. It's estimated at 14/19 but I usually wind up on the bottom end of those estimates so I'm really happy about that and glad I didn't opt for the V6 because of that concern.

Overall I'm really happy with no regrets so far. Feel free to PM me also if you have any specific questions or info I can help with. I did a lot of research leading up to my purchase and I'd be happy to share what I know.
