OZ magnesium motorsport wheels

Does anyone have the knowledge of what the backspacing measurements are of the 18x10 front and 18x11 rear OZ magnesium motorsport wheels for the GT4 Vantage?

I believe I need 19 inch wheels to clear my V8VS brakes and plan on having a set made with the same offsets and widths.

If someone has this information can you please share?

Thanks!!!!

I was just there at Trg AMR and could've asked, had I known. Funny, I was admiring their 18 inch OZs while I was there. Very nice wheels.

I'm due back in a month for service. I'll ask them and let you know what I find out.

Spyder

Thanks for your offer! I am working with TRG on wheels and suspension options currently. They are checking to see if the OZ 18 wheels will fit. If they do I will pick up a set from them but pretty sure they won't...

I'm planning to do their GT4 brake upgrade since the gt4 and my 07 vantage use the same caliper size.

That's another option for you since it looks like you're going full track with wheels and suspension.

I looked at the bilstein damper and suspension upgrade. The price was much higher than I anticipated and I'll likely go with nitron or kW coilovers instead (1/3 the price).

It certainly looks like we are after the same set up! I was also surprised with the price of the Bilstein motorsport dampers and currently have some questions to John with TRG. I have been e-mailing Nitron in the UK and thought they would be more familiar with the Vantage than they seem to be.. I am very close in proximity to Motion Control Suspension so I might go that direction for dampers. Being a long time BMW racer and track junkie I can't wait to get my Vantage sorted out and on the track.

Have fun!

Agree, Montana!

Track upgrades for the vantage are exciting to explore and sometimes shocking when the price comes out.

Keep us posted on your build. I'm very interested to hear what you find out from nitron.

My long term plan is to swap out the stock parts as they wear down and replace with GT4 parts if I can. I want to slowly build up my vantage as a track car too.

I'm looking at the GT4 brakes and thicker sway bars next. The stock brakes on my vantage always bothered me and I'm really looking forward to this upgrade.

I'll let you know how it goes too.

I'd love to hear more about Nitron's coilovers. Can't find much on them, but what I can find is positive.
