Worked like a charm too, the coolant temp stayed at 9 o'clock position while driving on the highway in low 30 degree weather

I stuck pieces of card board in there to restrict the airflow lol...

Ha! I'll definitely take you up on that if I can get out there.
In the meantime, I'm going to be changing the thermostat on P1nky_up's car soon and doing a full write-up with pics and video, so maybe that'll suffice.
