DB9 sill upgrade --> Virage / MY13 = no direct fit..
As most owners out here I also like the more pronounced and aggressive sill-look from the later Virage and MY13 DB9. Apparently, the MY11 face lift sills are a direct one-on-one fit but aren't aggressive enough to my liking.
I ordered original Virage sills back in September from a source in the UK and had them trial fitted today. Apart from the bolt holes all matching-nicely with the car, the sill ends on both front and rear panel do not align.
So it's modding time again for me. One of the board-sponsors Vcollection offers a direct-fit mod, discussed here https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ml#post4384772 with a link to their site here: https://www.vcollection.com/products...ts/Side_Skirts
Either way, I'll get mine mended over the next couple of weeks. Will keep you posted.

Too bad.. Thanks for sharing. I'm kicking around the idea of the V collection sills too. My dealer quoted me $500 each for the 2011 style, but as you mentioned not a very dramatic change from a style perspective.

The Vcollections are great and a direct fit but with these bought at only 35% of their price it's worth modding them to fit imho.

Not quite yet.. I didn't wanted to start the cutting without having the right epoxy/resin. The sills show a PU-RIM (Polyurethane) inscription for which I don't want to use normal DIY glassfiber epoxy. Therefore I've bought PU-specific epoxy which will be arriving next week after which I will start the works.

update..
Family commitments over the weekends and overseas business trips during weekdays have not given me much time over the last month. However, in between 'jobs' I've managed to get one side nearly finished (80%)
Picture shows the rear side which was hardest to mend: I basically cut the sill vertically along the orange line and offset the smaller portion about 3/4" backwards. Then I used my Epoxy BK (mixed with Eurosil & Microballs) and fiber-mats behind it to 'fill-up' the voids. Several of such moldings were done and with a cure-time of around 12 hours p/session it took a while. I'm happy with where I am at this stage though.
The other sills is soon to be done and I reckon I can do it half as quick.

Looking great! Do you have any issues with the front wheel opening liner not fitting well to the new contour of these sills?
I think you'll wind up with something better looking than anything else out there in the aftermarket for a DB9.
How much to whip me up a set? Body work has always been my weakness..

If there is an interest for these I may indeed consider bringing it to market [not sure if I can mention that here not being a sponsor ]

You'll have a find another way to market them, unfortunately.
