Yes, June 26th. Its part of a Thursday-Saturday AMOC event. I only do the Lime Rock TT.

 

I should be up there at least for the day at Lime Rock. Taking a few days off work for a $3k weekend isn't in the cards right now, but I can manage a day or two.

 

Just made reservations at Interlaken Inn for Friday and Saturday nights. Lime Rock should be fun. Never done that track so hopefully I don't make too much of a fool of myself!

Lime Rock is a tough short race course mainly due to the downhill negative camber butt puckering right hand turn that leads onto the main straight. Get it right and you'll have fast lap times. Get it wrong and you'll be in good company with me. Get it really wrong and you'll be walking back to the pits.

 

A month to go until Lime Rock - anyone else signed up for this?


I was really hoping to shake down my car at Summit Point on the 3rd but it looks like spots aren't opening up. Going to be interesting being on a track I've never driven with a bunch of new stuff on my car!

 

+1 on that. Only on track crash I ever had, ran wide into the main straight trying to carry too much speed down the hill. (almost 30 years ago)

No DB9 yet for me, but I'll be there to watch and enjoy the good company!

 

Palmer Motorsports park in Palmer Mass isn't much farther for you than Limerock. We have spots open for June 4,5 with COMSCC I'll be there on the 4th with my V8V

 

Bahh, thanks for the heads-up, but I won't be able to manage the travel time going that far. I'm dealing with some massive water damage on my house right now. It's taking up all my time and putting me way behind schedule on a few things
