Hi all.. newbie here

Hi everyone

Having been reading the spots and this is a very active forum. Just bought a 2009 DB9 Volante. Will be shipping the car to Sarasota. Can anyone recommend a mechanic in the sarasota area? Thanks in advance. Look forward to sharing here.

Car is being readied to be shipped to Florida next week. I'll take pictures before it's loaded in truck.

Had mine shipped from New Jersey to California. Don't know about you but was my first Aston. Was exciting watching the guy take it off the truck. Then signed papers and got the keys. He loaded up and left. Had watched videos on starting and paddles and such but was still a surreal experience starting it for the first time. Huge grin and will admit a bit of a shout too.
Make sure you know where the fuel door release is before going to fill up for the first time

A Newer Newbie

I'm an even newer newbie ;-) And small world, I'm from Sarasota, and just bought my first Aston Martin January 16th! 2005 DB9 with 24k miles. It's dark green...I'll post some pics soon. I sold my SL600 v12 mercedes, and am moving up for more style.

In years of driving in Sarasota, I've only seen one Aston Martin DB9, so you and I are going to stick out in this town!

Here's two dealers, who work on Aston Martins, that I've had good experiences with in Sarasota. They've worked on my Mercedes cars, but, are certified for Aston Martins:

Lowe's Automotive Service, Inc.
5720 Pinkney Ave, Sarasota, FL 34233
Phone (941) 924-8597

Encore Motorcars of Sarasota
6000 S Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, FL 34231
Phone (941) 922-6337

There are probably others to be found, but I'm going to try these first.

Best of Luck! See you around town!
