Mine is coming off warranty, been offered one year at $3900.


That the "normal" price or is there some play in the number?

 

Ask what two years is... Should be around 5k+

My 2007 Vantage that I bought used in 2014 came with a one year Aston Martin warranty. I just bought another year trough my Aston Martin dealer. They quoted me around $4200 for one year. I was able to buy the one year warranty for $2900 in the end. They told me that was below there cost. You do get a better deal if you buy two years a once.

No go on anything other than the AM warranty. Had a third party warranty on an M5 and it was awful.


Ron, how did you get them down to $2900? Just ask? Quote ot me was $3900 one year, and $6200 for two. Foreign Cars Italia.

 

I paid $6,400 for two years on my 2012 Vantage S

This was for the warranty only, PPI inspection was waived.

I forgot to mention there was a inspection fee which was cut in half for me by the dealer $300 inspection fee + $2900 (I was puzzled by the fact that they needed to have an inspection considering my car had been sold new through the dealership then used to me as well as an inspection before the car was sold to me one year prior but apparently it is mandatory for an Aston Martin). I was pretty lucky on the price it was actually a misquote by an inexperienced finance manager who had not sold a warranty for an Aston Martin before. This is a multi brand dealership they have 10 brands in all. Since I've been such a good customer and bought seven of the 10 brands previously from them they honored their price. This is a lesson in the fact that warranties have a profit margin built in, so you can bargin with them.

Recently I was quoted by AM Washington $3,700 with the $400 inspection fee waived if purchased. I declined.

 

My warranty is coming to end in August. I'm wondering if anyone else is thinking to buy, maybe we can get group deal

if it's all possible. I'm in Los Angeles area, Usually I go to Galpin. Last time I asked service writer, I think he quoted me around 4k for a year. My car is V8 with 6 speed. Also he mentioned that I have to pay for inspection around $500.

 

Do what Idid and negotiate on both fees the purchase of the warranty and the inspection there's room for them to move with price for both.It worked for me.
It helps if you purchased your car from GALPIN as well.
