Any change to the "rear seats"?
I often wonder if Aston Martin loses many sales to the Maserati GT. Even if the rear seats in a GT only get used very rarely, I suspect many buyers like that they are there. I mean, how else to you explain the obscene number of those things I see on the roads?

It looks like the rear seats will actually be usable. Look at the roofline above the rear seats and how far back it goes before dropping to the rear of the car. Looks likes it's designed specifically to accommodate full-sized humans this time.

I sat in the back seat and I am 6 foot 2. Not that I would want to go very far in the back but it is bigger than the current Vanquish.

The rear seats in our 911 and Audi TT are useless. The rear seats in our Bentley are hard to get in to but once there are really comfortable. Maybe the could add just a bit more room and make somewhat usable rear seats.

Hmpff. No glovebox. And a motorized center console but a non-motorized center display? Also, no glass roof option is a mistake in this vehicle class. That being said, i think it looks nice overall.

I can see the Mercedes influence in the interior. Attractive and luxurious but I prefer the previous Aston interior, it had its own unique style. The tech needed to be updated, obviously, but I feel it has lost something. Truly disappointed that the infotainment screen can be made to disappear. As of now, if I had to pick, I would want a vanquish.

Car is a mishmash of design with some angles that look good to me (rear 3/4 for example) and some visually jarring details (front fender vent opening to front wheel arch!)

Interior is a mixed bag, too. I don't like the centre console with its 'robot eyes and mouth' formed by the vent ***** and the slot below the vents.

I guess they had to move on with the design, and I don't envy anyone who had to followup on the original Gaydon cars, as they were probably some of the best looking in history IMO.

I'm really having a hard time likinig this. At first I was like WOW, I WANT ONE! The more I see the details the less in love I am. I am going to hold final judgement until I really get thorough look at one. Maybe when they start arriving to showrooms.

Totally agree that all the merc interior bits take away from the special feel of the previous gen(s). Exterior looks great, but I'm afraid anyone that's spent time in a merc will miss out a bit on the Aston experience...

Very happy to hear they will run on one bank of cylinders as an inline 6 for economy on the highway. This is a super clever way to provide V-12 power when you want it and still have decent range/fuel consumption for longer trips. I wonder if that feature could be adapted to the DB9 or DBS.
