DB 11 in Motor Trend
Current issue of Motor Trend (May 2016) has an article on the new BD 11
Interesting it does not use the Mercedes V12 engine. Instead it’s a new in-house design V12, 5.2 liter built at Fords Niehl engine plant in Cologne, Germany. The engine uses two twin-scroll turbocharges delivering 600 HP and 516 lb/ft of torque. Transmission is ZF 8 speed.
The front of the car is classic Aston Martin. The rear takes some getting used to. There is no rear spoiler.
Aston has an “AreoBlade” (managing the air as it flows past the C- pillar) which they claim acts as a virtual spoiler. There is also a “Gurney flap” at the trunk lip that extends an inch or so above 90 MPH
Price approximately $215.000, 00 US.

Saw the article. Have to see the car in person to give final judgement but I like what I see of the exterior. Don't care for the interior. Not a fan of TFT screens the steering wheel or the seats.
